Meet Joo Min

It’s impossible to live freely as a Christian in North Korea. When Joo Min escaped into China to support her impoverished family, she never thought she would find Jesus too.

At an Open Doors’ safe house, she heard the gospel for the first time and accepted Jesus as her Saviour.

Shortly afterwards, Joo Min did something extraordinary: she took the gospel back to North Korea. Today, she is a leader in an underground church there.

“Pray for protection and courage, so I can be like salt and light in a land overshadowed by darkness,” she asks.

Christians like Joo Min risk everything to follow Jesus. Your gift will strengthen the Church in the most dangerous places to see it thrive in the face of persecution.
