Strengthen the Church in Africa
Violence against Christians in Africa is at an all-time high.
Sub-Saharan Africa is the most violent place in the world for followers of Jesus. Believers face attacks from Islamic extremists on their churches and homes, abduction for ransom, violent assaults, and the constant risk of death.
Hundreds of thousands have been forced into internal displacement or have become refugees. Your gift today can help persecuted Christians in Africa stand strong.
$100 will help strengthen the body of Christ in Africa.

Meet Jemal
Jemal* lost everything when Islamic extremists rampaged through his town in Ethiopia, setting fire to 215 Christian homes. His house, his businesses, the cumulation of nearly 50 years’ work, all burned to the ground within hours.
“In a day they turned everything to ash,” he says sadly. “I lost all hope for the future. I gave up on everything.”
This wasn’t a random attack. It was part of a calculated plan to extinguish Christianity from the region. Jemal and his family fled to a nearby town. For two months they sheltered in a church with 30 other displaced families.
“When you lose your possessions, which you built up over 40 and 50 years, in one day you feel very bad,” he says gravely. “It deeply affected us psychologically.”
Today, your gift will help strengthen the persecuted Church in Sub-Saharan Africa by helping to meet the most urgent needs of believers like Jemal.
“One Christian can be medicine for another Christian,” he says thoughtfully.
