BIBLE DELIVERIES TO DANGEROUS PLACES

In one night, 40 years ago, one million Bibles were smuggled into China in an operation called ‘Project Pearl’. Today, Bible smuggling might look a bit different, but the risks remain the same.

Ramy* is a local partner of Open Doors working in Iraq to deliver Bibles to regions where following Jesus could cost you your life.

With the coronavirus pandemic, Ramy’s work has become more difficult: the borders between different regions are closed and special permissions are needed to pass.

All over the world, in the most dangerous places to follow Jesus, local partners like Ramy continue to smuggle Bibles, no matter the cost. Believers are hungry for the Word of God, and willing to risk it all just to own one.

The Word of God is living and active, and where it goes out, it doesn’t come back empty.

Please join us in praying that the Word of God will reach the ends of the earth.
