Give To The Ministry Within New Zealand
When Bahia* and her mother came to faith, they were severely persecuted for leaving Hinduism to follow Jesus.
One day Bahia was pulled from her home, beaten, and dragged through the village. She lost consciousness and woke up in the forest with other Christians from her village.
“We refused to give up our faith, which made them very angry.” Bahia explained, saying that the villagers threatened to abuse or kill her if she returned.
When we asked her if she had a message for our supporters, this is what Bahia said:
“Don’t be afraid when persecution comes to you. It’s part of Christian life. It’s a privilege to be persecuted. Don’t become sad or discouraged."
Today we’re asking for your help to continue sharing stories like this.
When you give to this appeal by 31 March, you’re ensuring that the message of the persecuted church can be shared across the country, as well as claiming your tax credit.
