Support The Church In Asia

Will You Give To Strengthen The Church As They Share The Gospel In Their Nation?

The ministry of Open Doors has always existed to see the gospel being shared in the most dangerous places for Christians.

This year, persecution has increased as a direct result of the gospel being shared. Earlier in January, we launched the 2019 World Watch List. It highlights the most dangerous countries in the world for Christians as well as trends in global persecution.

Open Doors estimates that 1 in 9 Christians worldwide face persecution. And in Asia alone, it’s 1 in 3.

In 17 countries in Asia, your support helps us partner with the local church to help them be the church, through:

– Delivering Bibles and Christian literature | $20

– Providing persecuted believers with job skills and work | $50

– Training church leaders in theology | $100

Can you give to help Christians in Asia as they live every day under pressure for Jesus?

North Korea has been the hardest place to be a Christian since 2002. Just owning a Bible is illegal.

A believer from North Korea said, “When [my friend] came to faith, he made a decision that one day he would die for Christ. Every Christian in North Korea has made that choice.”

In China, the situation is the worst it’s been in more than a decade; some even say since the Cultural Revolution ended in 1976. Missionaries have been forced to leave the country, crosses have been pulled down, and churches have been forced to close.

Pastor Victor from China said, “It is true that we all have to face persecution as disciples of Jesus Christ, but it is a choice of how we respond to persecution… we gain spiritual strength to witness Christ.”
