Persecution against Christians increases in both its probability and severity at Easter, as they gather to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus.
2015 - Kenya, Easter Sunday. Gunmen attacked the University of Garissa, killing 148 students.
2016 - Pakistan, Easter Sunday. Lahore Park bombing left 75 people dead, 29 of whom were children.
2017 - Egypt, Palm Sunday. Suicide bombers attacked two churches. 44 were killed, over 100 injured.
2019 - Sri Lanka, Easter Sunday. Suicide bombers attacked 3 churches and 3 hotels where 259 lost their lives. Over 500 injured.
How do I get involved?
Donate $100 to the persecuted church. Draw a cross on your wrist to show your solidarity in standing “One With Them.” Share a picture of your cross on social media with the hashtag. #onewiththem
