Pray for Uzbekistan

In October the police rushed into an officially registered church while many young people were there for their worship service. They asked the young church members for letters from their parents in which they allow their underage children to go to the church. Several young people were threatened with police registration and being excluded from their school. They were also forced to write a complaint against the pastor and other church members who are responsible for the children and youth ministry.

The young people who were threatened stopped going to their church and don’t want any contact with the other church members, because they are afraid of the consequences of the police.

Pray for encouragement and boldness for these threatened young Christians. Pray that there will be no actions from the police in this case. Pray also for the pastor of this church. On the same day the police held a second raid in the church; the pastor had to visit the police station for questioning.
