The Persecuted Church

The Book of Acts relates tales of Christian persecution. Unfortunately Christians today often operate under the assumption that persecution is a part of the Church’s past. The truth is that there are members of the Body of Christ that face severe persecution and restrictions as a result of their faith in Jesus Christ, every day.

In some cases, however, Christians are asked to face more than scorn, prison, or the loss of health—they are asked to face death.
